My Story

My journey in the club started with the formation of the club itself; as a member, I was a part of the first-ever installation ceremony, but due to some reasons, I couldn’t be a part of the club for long. Coming into grade 11, I knew that I wanted to be a part of this amazing club, so I enrolled myself again & continued my journey with the club as a member, and I was scared if I’d be able to be everything that the club stands for.

Even though I was scared, I knew that I could not let it bring me down. There were several instances where I was hesitant to speak up on the stage, but my officers would encourage me to speak; it is because of them that I could manage to go up on the stage. This helped me in more ways than I could have imagined, I started to feel like I wanted to speak more, do more and make use of every opportunity, and I did just that. This process had helped me a lot, and I wanted it to help others as well; that is why I decided to become an officer. Being an officer was a little intimidating, but it was a learning and a growth process in itself. This club has helped me shape the way I am today with a lot of positives.

Everyone isn’t perfect, but it is in our hands whether we use the opportunities given to us to be a better version of ourselves. All I can tell you is to grab your opportunities, speak more, participate more because that will definitely help you out.
